Plain Rolls

INGREDIENTS: For about 2 dozen rolls

  • One quantity of Basic Yeast Dough (see recipe listed elsewhere in this blog)

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven 200 ~ 205 degrees C.
  2. Make basic yeast dough.
  3. Let rise and punch down.
  4. Roll dough into balls about 5 cm diameter.
  5. Place in greased pan with sides touching.
  6. Spread tops with shortening or egg white.
  7. Bake 25 minutes.
NOTE
  • This is the basis for Easter buns
