Welcome to the Recipe Matters WordPress blog. The recipes listed here have been entered by various members of the Matters family in Australia. Some of these recipes are from an evening college baking course done by Ian as far back as 1982.

Units of Measurement

The recipes in this blog generally use Australian metric units of measurement, especially the following:

• Cup: 250 mL (about 8½ fluid ounces)
• Teaspoon (tsp): 5 mL
• Tablespoon (Tblsp): 20 mL
