INGEDIENTS
- 1 cup cut-off orange peel
- 1 whole lemon
- 750 mL water
- Sugar (see the method for the quantity)
METHOD
- Cut up lemon and orange peel and mix with water.
- Soak for 24 hours.
- Boil for half an hour.
- Set aside 24 hours.
- Measure and allow 1 cup of sugar to 1 cup of pulp.
- Boil till it jellies.
This is delicious – well tried.
Used by Doreen's great-grandmother and handed down from each mother to daughter.
